1. When i was going to North Eugene High School i had a problem with this girl. We never got along, but we were friends with the same people. We agrued about everything. She was very disrespectful to others becasue of their beliefs, or how they looked, or sadly even their skin color. I was embarrssed ever time she went some where with us. One day she started telling me that what i believed in was wrong and i should believe in what she believed in. Now were not friends because i told her off and told her some things she needs to keep to her self. So we went on not being friends and one day i was walking in the hall way with one of my friends she wasnt very fond of. She opened her mouth and made a very rude comment to my friend. Chelsie (myfriend) was yelling back at her when she made a very sexiest comment and that was were i lost it, i just told her off when she started pushing me and we were going at it when the principle broke it up. But to answer the question i can’t stand it when people are rude to others just becasue they think somethind different.
2. The house that i lived in for about 14 years was a beautiful house. I loved it there! Even though there was alot of us in the 5 bedroom house i still loved living with my cousin and grand parents. yeah siometimes it got on my nerves, but for the most part i never wanted to leave. But sadly the neighborhood wasn’t that great. The house down the street (we all called the swat house) was always getting caught for all kind of drugs and abuse. It made it hard for us to go outsidde and play because my parents didnt feel comfotrable with us by their house. And we couldn’t afford to move at the time. But the neighborhood was still beatuiful with all the trees and flowers. There was even a park. I remeber this lady across the street who was very disrespectful and we could never make her happy. It seemed like she was afraid of hurting one of us so she would always yell at us and make us go inside. The only time we ever came out was when she was gone or inside for the most part. But that was my house and i miss it!

What we thought was going to be a fun night turned into a night we would never forget. I was with my best friends Carly and Kailey on a Friday night. It was late and we were rockin’ out to the radio, laughing, dancing, and having a great time. The three of us loved being together! Being togehter was especailly fun whenthe parents were out and we could justbe crazy and be ourselves. No one was shouting at us, ” Hey quiet down in there!”
The radio was blaring and when our favorite song came on we started dancing again, then there was what sounded like a bang on the door. It was so loud my heart dropped from the unexpected pounding. Carly went to the door, but noone was there. We figured it was someone just playing ding-dong ditch so we just went on with the exciting night. We were having such a great time we had forgotten the prank when the pone rang. i picked up the phone thinking ” who can it be?” It was carly’s mom, checking in to see how we were doing. I told her we were having an awesome time and not to worry about us.
The night grew dark and cold outside and we were starting to get tired so we put in our favorite movie “Ya Ya Sisterhood,” when we heard this awful sound. “Screech, Screech, Screech” something was scraping the window. We ran to Carly’s bedroom as fast as we could. We were so horrified that we forgot to grab the phone on the wway. We were all huddle by the bed shaking, and super scared. Finally, we settled down and decided to take a look around the house. There was nothing to be found. As we were just getting ready to start the movie up again, there it was… the noise! “Screech, Screech, Screech.” This time we saw what was making the noise. Long, creepy fingernails scraped down the window, I instantly thought of Freddy Kruger and screamed. Carly and Kailey were screaming, too. We hurried to fing something to protect ourselves. Kailey grabbed two metal pots, and Carly grabbed a lowsy can of beans.
As we waited int he bathroom that we had run to for refuge, we realized we should make a run for it. If we stayed in the bathroom we were done for sure. We counted to three and we spilt from the bathroom to the front door. We were going to the neighbors house to get help, we sprinted across the yard. i was behind, of course, when i slipped on the icy porch. I must have slid ten feet when i felt a hand snatch me. The Mystery Man had me! He flung me to the air. I was kicking and screaming with all my might. I yelled, “Let me go, please let me go!” When the Mystery Man set me down, i again ran toward my friends. I realized as they came closer that they were laughing hysterically. I turned to see what was so funny, and there was the Mystery Man, not a man at all, Kailey’s mother! I was so angry! i screamed “UGH!” Some ppractical joke. Of course, the night returned to normal, and before too long i was laughing about the Mystery Man, too. I never quite trusted Kailey’s mom after that, and i don’t think i ever will.

” Colie i think that confidenece comes from the outside of you and the world and then back to your head.” pg.114 Sarah Dessen used this quote in her very own book “Keeping the Moon”. I think that this mean’s that confidenece is not what other people think of us but what we think of ourselves and then what we think we will believe. I think that confidenece is a good quality to have. It show’s that your proud of who you are in a good way and your not afriad to speak up and show who you are. So some advice for others, dont walk around acting like you care what others think. Be yourself! And most importantly dont be afraid to show it!

I think that text messaging does hinder student. Many students use these slang word such as “lol” and “brb” and much more when they talk to there friends. Students use these slang words so much in a day that that’s all they can remember. Then they end up using there slang vocabulary on assignments, letters, and in this situation state tests. Dont get me wrong, i use the slang words as well. I just think that we use them so much that thats all we know. I think that if we were to cut back on how much we use these words then we might improve in our writing vocab.

Have you ever asked your self, What is a Blog? A blog is a piece of writing that you or someone else has writen. It can be about a book, the news, radio, comments, anything you want it to be. It’s where you can express yourself freely.
What do you think about writing? From my personal experience, i love writing. I like how i can just write whatever comes to mind and not have worry about anything. In my writng i like to write about memories, things that have happend to others, experiances, i even like to write poems. I would advise anyone who’s not to sure about writing to try it atleast once and see what you think. My opinion is that EVERYONE and ANYONE can write. Others may be faster than you, and a little more experianced but I have faith in all of you!
